Editorial policy
The rules this site holds itself to, written down so you can hold us to them too.
Short answer
Facts come from Legend's own documentation and carry a verification date. Opinions are labelled as editorial assessment. Affiliate revenue never changes an assessment, and corrections are published on a dated public log.
1. Sourcing
Every factual claim about Legend originates from Legend's official website or documentation. Where a claim is significant — fees, referral terms, copy-trading limits — the primary source is linked at the bottom of the page. We do not source facts from other affiliate sites, social media posts, or promotional material.
2. Fact and opinion are labelled separately
A documented fact is something Legend publishes. An editorial assessment is our judgement — for example, that a 0.25% spot platform fee deserves scrutiny for high-frequency spot traders. The two are visually and verbally distinguished throughout the site so you can weigh them differently.
3. Verification dates
Financial facts decay. Each page shows the date its documented facts were last checked, currently August 21, 2026. When a fact is re-verified or corrected, the change is logged on the updates page.
4. Corrections
If something is wrong, we fix it and say so. Corrections are logged with a date and a description, whether they favour Legend or not. Report an error at contact@legendtrade.com.
5. What we will not publish
- Invented testimonials, user counts, review counts, or star ratings.
- Profit claims, guaranteed returns, or implied income from trading.
- Countdown timers, fake scarcity, or manufactured urgency of any kind.
- Fabricated statistics, or numbers we cannot trace to a primary source.
- Fee information hidden behind a sign-up, an email form, or a click.
- Any claim that cashback, copy trading, or a bonus makes trading safer.
6. Risk-first framing
Because this site covers leveraged derivatives, risk information appears alongside the benefit — not below it, and not on a separate page nobody reads. Every conversion point carries a risk warning and a disclosure.
7. Independence and funding
The site earns affiliate revenue when readers register through its referral link and trade. That revenue funds the research; it does not buy conclusions. Nobody at Legend reviews, approves, or edits this content before publication, and we accept no payment to alter an assessment. Full detail is on the affiliate disclosure page.
8. Not financial advice
The LegendTrade Guide editorial team are not licensed financial advisers. Nothing here is personal financial, legal, or tax advice, and no content should be read as a recommendation to trade. See the risk disclosure.
9. Accessibility and privacy
Pages are built to be readable with a keyboard and a screen reader, to respect reduced motion preferences, and to work without tracking cookies. See the privacy policy for what is and is not collected.
10. Review cycle
Fee, referral, and product facts are re-checked against Legend's documentation whenever we become aware of a change and on a routine cycle otherwise. This policy itself is reviewed when the site's funding model or practices change.
